A bright yet pale golden coloured Picpoul. So fresh and evocative of its maritime proximity. Wafts of sea-breeze mingle with delightful notes of citrus, apple skin and herbs. Hints of peach and exotic fruits make a fleeting appearance too. The palate is caressed at first by the gentle texture but is re-energised by the telling vibrant acidity on the finale.

A blend of Fernao Pires, Arinto and Sercial, from the coastal Lisboa region. All grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel with contact on the lees for 6 months. The result is a delicious, fresh and aromatic white, with ripe citrus fruit, apples and tropical fruit aromas. The palate has a texture from lees age which is complemented by a zesty acidity.

Perfect as an aperiftif, with summer salads, white meats, sushi and seafood.

The Volpi winery in Northern Italy has built an excellent reputation for its range of Organics. This well-balanced Pinot Grigio from the Veneto region is made from low yielding organic vineyards, which contribute intensity and ripeness. Pale yellow in colour, it has floral aromas of acacia and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fresh with flavours of lemon, white peach and melon.
