The Pecorino grape is particularly grown in the central Italian Marche area, though through its increasing popularity it is now spreading wider. Pale straw coloured the nose is intense with broom, nuts and pear aromas. On the palate there is bountiful and rich flavours of apple, melon and citrus fruit rind. There’s lots to enjoy here from this fine native, biodynamic Pecorino.

The Volpi winery in Northern Italy has built an excellent reputation for its range of Organics. This well-balanced Pinot Grigio from the Veneto region is made from low yielding organic vineyards, which contribute intensity and ripeness. Pale yellow in colour, it has floral aromas of acacia and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fresh with flavours of lemon, white peach and melon.
