Native to Central Europe, Oats are an important cereal of the temperate zones. Jumbo oats are oat groats, rolled flat, partially precooked in steam. Use their creamy taste in a coarse porridge, bake into biscuits, flapjacks and crumbles, or use raw in muesli. Toast in oil and malt extract for granola.

Oatbran is naturally high in fibre, can be used in baking, added to soups and stews, or as an alternative to breadcrumbs.
