Ground Cardamom is used as an ingredient of Garam Masala. Cardamom has a strong, aromatic flavour and can be used whole or ground, in savoury dishes, curries, rice, puddings, cakes and tea.

Use sparingly to give a ‘herby’ flavour to savoury dishes including omelettes, casseroles, pasta sauces and stews.

It is used in pasta sauces, Chinese and Thai stir-fry dishes and savoury Indian dishes.
