A classic Rhône blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, this wine is made from grapes with a focus on maturity and quality. To reveal the vibrant fruit character in the wine, cold maceration takes place after fermentation and 6 weeks of daily pumping over and punching down helps to draw as much personality from the grape skins as possible. Aged in concrete tanks for 6 months before bottling, the wine is a beautiful deep cherry red colour. On the nose, red fruit aromas of candied cherry, strawberry, violets and aniseed. The palate shows a concentrated, rich structure with a generous finish and pleasantly rounded tannins.
