A bright yet pale golden coloured Picpoul. So fresh and evocative of its maritime proximity. Wafts of sea-breeze mingle with delightful notes of citrus, apple skin and herbs. Hints of peach and exotic fruits make a fleeting appearance too. The palate is caressed at first by the gentle texture but is re-energised by the telling vibrant acidity on the finale.

Soft and generous mouthfeel, tropical banana and with just a hint of almond on the palate. Airen is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world, in Spain it excels in the vast central region of La Mancha. Frequently used as a blending partner to accompany more acidic varieties this new No Added Sulphur white isn’t lacking any individuality or characterful presence. Pair with white meats, pasta, tapas, fish & risotto.

A blend of Fernao Pires, Arinto and Sercial, from the coastal Lisboa region. All grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel with contact on the lees for 6 months. The result is a delicious, fresh and aromatic white, with ripe citrus fruit, apples and tropical fruit aromas. The palate has a texture from lees age which is complemented by a zesty acidity.

Perfect as an aperiftif, with summer salads, white meats, sushi and seafood.
