Essential organic Herbs and Spices contain no colourings, flavourings, preservatives or additives of any kind. Known as Jamaican pepper or Pimento berries, this spice is indigenous to Central America and the West Indies. An ingredient of mixed spice, it is widely used in Central and South American cooking. Can also be used in soups, savoury dishes and cakes. May contain traces of celery seed or mustard seeds.

Use sparingly to give a ‘herby’ flavour to savoury dishes including omelettes, casseroles, pasta sauces and stews.

Use a 5 inch piece in meat, vegetable, fish or rice dishes. It can also be used to flavour rice pudding or other mil based dishes.
